Inside the delicious fruits of the prickly pear are seeds that contain oil carrying different types of fatty acids, phenols, nutrients such as Vitamin E, phytosterols, and antioxidants. Prickly pear also has antibacterial properties which may help to prevent skin damage and breakouts. Prickly pear oil contains a high content of linoleic acid. Linoleic acid helps the skin retain water, keeping it hydrated.
Luxury Prickly Pear Soap
Ingredients: Saponified organic olive oil, organic coconut oil, organic prickly pear oil, organic and sustainable palm oil, organic shea butter, organic hemp oil, organic babassu oil, and organic castor oil;tussah silk; oxides; organic cedarwood and organic vertiver essential oils.
Each bar weighs approximately 6.5 oz
Note: Each bar is handmade and hand cut. Please allow for any slight variances in color and texture. These soaps have been cured for 4-6 weeks, which makes for hard and long-lasting bars. Use of a draining soap dish between uses will help preserve longevity. The weight of each soap bar can vary because they are hand cut.
